THE PROJECT
The polyphonic choir SCHOLA CANTORUM DI BAZZANO presents the 5th edition of the International Choirs Festival "CORINFESTIVAL".
The Festival, that represents a real novelty in our territory, is an important event that conciliates the passion for music and singing and the universal values of friendship and solidarity.
It is no competition, but it favours the approach to different and distant music cultures. It is dedicated to all music genres and it takes place every year in October.
Professor Manuela Borghi leads the artistic and organizational aspects of the event as the President of the Choir Association SCHOLA CANTORUM DI BAZZANO.
She has conducted the Choir since 1983 and avails herself of the informatics collaboration of VP Lazzaro Senese.
THE OBJECTIVES
This project is meant to achieve the following objectives:
- to spread, to deepen, to disclose choral music - to spread the music culture of "singing altogether";
- to favour the acquaintance and the socialization among groups coming from different countries but joining the passion for the art of choral singing;
- to disclose the history of our country also through the knowledge of the production sites in our territory by favouring tourism at the same time;
- to develop an active synergy among the associations rooted in Valsamoggia, in order to achieve a social-cultural objective.
